NetEase Enterprise Mail (qiye.163.com) is a collaborative office platform that integrates mail, calendar, cloud docs, and instant messaging. Binding it to Laifaxin requires 2 steps:

NetEase Enterprise Mail provides 2 server sets โ prefer the recommended servers:

Start with the recommended servers (hwhz prefix โ more stable). If binding errors with ERR.LOGIN.DOMAINNOTEXIST (server unreachable), switch to the backup servers.
2. Generate the Client Authorization Passwordโ
2.1 Bind a Phone Number First (Prerequisite)โ
NetEase Enterprise Mail requires the account to have a phone number bound before generating the authorization password โ otherwise generation will stall. Bind your phone number in the web UI first.
2.2 Open "Client Settings" and Enableโ
Log in to NetEase Enterprise Mail web โ click Mailbox Settings in the top-right:
In the left menu choose Client Settings โ check Set Client Authorization Password โ click Generate Authorization Password:
2.3 Name โ Copy โ Confirmโ
Enter an identifier name for the password (we suggest Laifaxin) โ the system generates a 16-digit authorization password โ copy it immediately โ click OK to save:
After copying the password, be sure to click [OK] โ without confirming, the just-generated authorization password is not truly saved or activated.
Once saved, the list shows the generated password along with its expiration date:
3. Bind in Laifaxinโ
Go to Laifaxin email account and add the NetEase enterprise mailbox:

Once verified, the mailbox status shows Normal โ binding successful:

4. ERR.LOGIN.IPDENY Error? Admin Lifts the IP Restrictionโ
If you used the right authorization password but binding still errors with ERR.LOGIN.IPDENY โ the company admin set an IP login whitelist, and your current IP isn't in the allowed range.
This requires the enterprise admin to lift the restriction in the console:
- Log in to the admin console at qiye.163.com/admin
- Go to Security & Audit โ Secure Login โ Login Restriction
- In the "IP Login Restriction" area, change Restricted Login IP region to All Provinces/Cities โ save
Once lifted, return to section 3 ยท Bind in Laifaxin and re-bind.

Yes. If you use NetEase's official "NetEase Mail Master" client, you can log in with the main password โ no authorization password needed.
But this guide is for generic third-party clients (Laifaxin, Foxmail, Thunderbird, etc.) โ those require the authorization password.
