๐Ÿข Company Name Search ยท How to Find Customers When You Only Have a Name

๐ŸŒŸ Core goal: With customer "company names" only (no websites), this tool reverse-lookups their official website, emails, and decision-makers with one click.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Best fit? Foreign trade pros with customs data, trade show directories, industry rosters, or a fresh list of company names from Google โ€” but no contact info.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Entry: Company Name Search

๐Ÿ” Already have customer websites? โ†’ Switch to Domain Search (richer info)

๐Ÿ’ก No company name or website? โ†’ Use AI Database to mine tens of thousands of peers from a single customer

๐Ÿ” Approach 1: Single Company Lookup (for quick checks)โ€‹

If you only have a handful of company names, just type into the search box โ€” the system will autocomplete.

Steps:

  1. Enter the keyword: Type a company name in the search box (e.g., apple โ€” no need for the full name).
  2. Smart dropdown: The system surfaces matching "company name + domain" candidates. Click the best match.

Company Name Search - Single lookup smart dropdown: typing "apple" in the search box brings up a live dropdown. Each entry shows "company name + matched domain"; click to select your target

  1. Get contact info: The full company profile opens on the right. Click the ๐Ÿ“ง Email tab to get decision-maker emails.

Company Name Search - Selected company profile on the right: search box shows the selected company's domain. Right drawer expands to the full profile with Company Info / Email / AI Insights / Find Similar panels. Click the Email panel to get decision-maker emails

๐Ÿ’ก Avoid this trap: don't skip "unknown" emails!

When saving emails, strongly recommend checking both "Valid" and "Unknown". Per heavy user testing, over 70% of real inquiries come from "Unknown" emails. Saving only "Valid" emails costs you most of the opportunities!

If you have hundreds or thousands of rows in Excel, don't go one by one โ€” batch them and you're done in 5 seconds.

Steps:

  1. Copy the list: Open your Excel and copy the "Company Name" column.
  2. Create a batch task: Click Batch Search next to the search box โ†’ pick the Company Name tab โ†’ paste the list (one company per line, up to 10,000 per run).
  3. One-click reverse-lookup: Click + Create Task. In seconds, the system pulls websites and emails for the whole batch.

Company Name Search - Batch task creation: in the batch search popup, switch to the "Company Name" tab and paste the list copied from Excel (one per line). The system auto-detects the row count. "+ Create Task" button at the bottom

๐Ÿ’พ The Key Step: How to Save the Emailsโ€‹

Once you have results, save them to your "Contacts" library โ€” otherwise you can't run bulk email later.

Steps:

  1. View results: Open the Batch Search Tasks page from the left sidebar and click Results on the task you just created.

Company Name Search - Batch task results list: find the task you just created on the Batch Search Tasks page and click "Results". The list shows the looked-up companies, domains, and email statuses with secondary filtering

  1. Select target companies: The results list supports secondary filtering by industry / country. Strip out freight forwarders, shell companies, and other noise; then check your target companies.
  2. Save + tag: Click Save Contacts. In the popup, pick email types and always tag the batch (e.g., CustomsData-US-AutoParts) so you can target them precisely later.

Company Name Search - Save contacts popup: after checking target companies, popup opens with save settings. Pick email types (recommend "Valid + Unknown"), save 3~5 per company, fill in customer tags, "Confirm Save" button at the bottom

โœ… Official guarantee: no double-charging!

The system auto-deduplicates! No matter how many times or how many batches you save the same email, it's charged only once, for life. Save freely.

After saving, go to Customer Save Records to view live save progress and points used.

Company Name Search - Customer save records: each save task shows a progress bar and points used. Hover to see the split across valid / unknown / invalid emails

๐Ÿš€ Power Play: Customs Data Is Noisy โ€” How Do You Quickly Pick Qualified Leads?โ€‹

Customs data and trade show directories often mix in freight forwarders, logistics, or shell companies. How do you sift through thousands of rows?

Let "AI Lead Scoring" filter in seconds: In the batch task results list, select all companies, click AI Lead Scoring at the top, and the system scores every company against your product. You just save the 60+ scorers โ€” no more reviewing each one manually.

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ New User FAQโ€‹

To get you up to speed, we've translated some "jargon" into plain English ๐Ÿ‘‡

Q1 ยท The results screen has lots of info (4 tabs). What does each one mean?โ€‹

When a company comes back, the UI shows 4 core panels:

PanelPlain English
๐Ÿข Company InfoThe company's basics โ€” where they are, how big, social media links
๐Ÿ“ง EmailWhere to find key decision-makers (the most important โ€” emails depend on this)
๐Ÿค– AI InsightsAI summarizes "what this company actually does" โ€” no need to read their English website; you can tell at a glance whether they're your target
๐Ÿ” Find SimilarThink this company's a perfect fit? Click here and the system surfaces more like it

Q2 ยท How does billing work when I look up a company?โ€‹

  • Searching and viewing are free! Search and read AI Insights as much as you like.
  • Only when you click "Save" to add emails to your library do points get deducted: ๐ŸŸข Valid email 2 points / ๐ŸŸก Unknown email 1 point / ๐Ÿ”ด Invalid email 0 points (not charged).

Q3 ยท What does "save to CRM" actually mean?โ€‹

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) sounds fancy, but it's just "Customer Management" in the left sidebar โ€” think of it as your "personal online address book". Data you find in the search engine has to be saved into that book before you can email those leads.

Q4 ยท Are "Unknown" emails worth saving?โ€‹

Strongly recommend saving them. The validation system is conservative, and many "Unknown" labels actually work โ€” Laifaxin users report over 70% of inquiries come from Unknown emails. Saving only "Valid" misses the bulk of opportunities.

Q5 ยท What's the max per batch? Why do I get fewer hits than I submitted?โ€‹

Up to 10,000 per run, finishing in 5 seconds โ€” split if you exceed. Hit count drops usually because: duplicate company names (auto-deduped), small companies without a public website, or noise like freight forwarders / shell companies in customs data. Recommendation: dedupe and standardize English names in Excel before submitting.

Q6 ยท Are the emails 100% valid? Do I need to validate separately?โ€‹

We can't guarantee 100%, but no need for a separate validation flow: the system already runs multi-step validation (0 points for invalid emails), free validation at save, and another free check before bulk send. Just save and send.

Q7 ยท If I run out of points, do I lose the task?โ€‹

No. Batch search tasks never fail mid-way. Save tasks auto-pause on insufficient points and resume automatically after topping up. No need to recreate the task.
