๐Ÿท๏ธ Tag Management ยท Centralized Management of Contact + Company Tags

Tags = classification cards stuck on customers (e.g. English-USA-Kayak-Distributor). Laifaxin's Tag Management backend lets you centrally manage all contact tags + company tags, paired with Contact Views to enable "filter customers by tag" for precision marketing.

1. Create / Edit Tagsโ€‹

2. Create Group (Tag Folder)โ€‹

When tags multiply, groups are needed. Recommend the v2 main line's 3 big groups:

3. Company Tagsโ€‹

Companies can also have tags (different from contact tags) โ€” switch the top tab to ใ€Company Tagsใ€‘. All operations (create / edit / delete / group) are identical to contact tags.

  • Contact tags โ†’ stuck on individual customer email (e.g. John's email tagged "VIP")

โ†’ The two are independently managed, can be used together.


4. Common Operationsโ€‹

Too many tags to find one? Enter keywords and filter in real time:

2. Tag Usage Statisticsโ€‹

Want to know how many contacts per tag? Click top right ใ€Statisticsใ€‘ โ€” system computes and shows contact / company count per tag / group:

3. Delete Tagโ€‹

Click the ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ delete icon to the right of the tag โ†’ confirm.

โš ๏ธ Deleting a tag only removes the "classification card", not the customer

Deleting a tag โ‰  deleting customers โ€” when a tag is deleted, the contacts / companies that had this tag won't be removed, they just no longer show this tag.

Q2 ยท I deleted a tag โ€” what happens to the contacts that had it?โ€‹

Contacts aren't deleted. The tag card was just removed from them โ€” contacts themselves stay in the contacts library, other tags also stay. It's a safety mechanism preventing accidental customer data deletion.

Q3 ยท How many tags can one contact have?โ€‹

No hard cap, but 3 ~ 5 core tags is most comfortable. Too many causes management chaos and easy mistakes in view filtering.

Q4 ยท Can contact tags and company tags be shared?โ€‹

No. They're two independent systems:

  • Contact tags can only be on individual emails
  • Company tags can only be on whole companies

But names can be identical (e.g. create a "VIP" tag in both) โ€” no conflict.

Q5 ยท Can tags be bulk-applied?โ€‹
